  • AUDITION FORM
  • CREW FORM
  • Our informational meeting will be Tuesday, 24th in the Theatre
  • Auditions will take place Wednesday, Jan. 25th with callbacks on Thursday, Jan. 26th.
    • Auditions will consist of a short movement/dance audition (as a group) and you singing your chosen song. While no one will be asked to do anything overly complicated, everyone should come dressed comfortably and prepared to move.
    • PLEASE NOTE!! The dance audition gives us an idea of the potential cast's range of ability--it will not be something we look at when casting the show as none of the characters require any specific dance ability.
    • Call backs will consist of readings from the script as well as some informal vocal checks based on other songs in the show.
For Wednesday's audition, you will choose any of the songs below to sing. Each song is about 1 minute long and it is up to you which song you sing--gender does not need to be a consideration. Please sing the song you think best showcases your abilities.
A few notes:
  • Emma! is a pop musical, so try to let loose and showcase your best pop voice. Sing the way you'd sing alone in a car or when no one is watching.
  • Each song was chosen to showcase a certain range/ability. If you are particularly interested in a certain character, you may want to chose a song that they sing (if that's an option).
  • The song examples below are pulled directly from the show. Because of that, some parts may be sung by multiple people. You should sing everything that there are lyrics for in the sheet music below.
  • You DO NOT have to memorize the piece, however, it is highly recommended. We won't count off for people who don't memorize, but you will be MUCH more confident when singing if you have it solidly in your head.
  • Try to have fun!
